1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at www.sprucedsocietycleanz.com.au ("Website") and your engagement of cleaning services provided by Spruced Society Cleanz ("we", "us", "our"), a business operating in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

By accessing or using our Website, or by booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website or engage our services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and comply with the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) ("ACL").

2. Our Services

We provide residential cleaning services in Brisbane and surrounding areas, including:

Regular Cleans: Routine scheduled cleaning of residential properties Deep Cleans: Comprehensive cleaning of residential properties, including areas not covered in a regular clean End of Lease Cleans: Thorough cleaning of residential properties at the conclusion of a tenancy, designed to meet standard real estate inspection requirements

Service availability is subject to our scheduling capacity and geographic coverage. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.

3. Quotes and Pricing

3.1 All prices quoted for our services are fixed and inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).

3.2 A quote provided to you is valid for 14 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing.

3.3 Quotes are based on the information you provide at the time of enquiry. If the actual condition of the property differs materially from what was described, we reserve the right to revise the quoted price before commencing the service. We will notify you of any revised price and obtain your agreement before proceeding.

3.4 Additional charges may apply for services requested outside the original scope of work. We will advise you of any additional costs before performing additional work.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 Bookings can be made via our Website, by email at sprucedsociety@gmail.com, or by such other means as we make available from time to time.

4.2 A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us.

4.3 Deposit Requirements:

Deep Cleans: A deposit of 20 percent of the quoted price is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the clean.

End of Lease Cleans: A deposit of 30 percent of the quoted price is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the clean.

Regular Cleans: No deposit is required. A payment link for the full amount will be sent to you upon completion of the clean and is due for payment promptly on receipt.

4.4 Accepted payment methods: credit card via Stripe. We reserve the right to update accepted payment methods at any time.

4.5 If payment is not received in accordance with these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel future bookings and to recover any outstanding amounts, including reasonable debt recovery costs.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 We understand that circumstances change. The following policy applies to all bookings:

More than 48 hours before the scheduled service: Full refund of any deposit paid, or free rescheduling

24 to 48 hours before the scheduled service: Deposit is non-refundable but fully transferable to a future booking. Rescheduling is available at no additional charge.

Less than 24 hours before the scheduled service: Deposit is forfeited. No additional cancellation fee applies beyond the forfeited deposit.

No-show where our cleaner attends and cannot access the property: Full quoted price is payable.

5.2 To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible at sprucedsociety@gmail.com.

5.3 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to circumstances beyond our control including illness, extreme weather, or equipment failure. In such cases we will notify you as soon as practicable and offer a full refund of any deposit paid or a rescheduled appointment at no additional cost.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee and Re-Clean Policy

6.1 We take pride in the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the standard of a completed clean, please notify us within 48 hours of service completion by emailing sprucedsociety@gmail.com with details of your concern.

6.2 Where a valid complaint is received within this period, we will return to re-clean the identified areas at no additional charge, at a time mutually agreed between us.

6.3 Our satisfaction guarantee does not apply to:

  • Areas or items not included in the original scope of work

  • Damage or soiling that occurs after we have completed the service

  • Pre-existing damage, staining, or conditions that could not be remedied by cleaning alone

  • Complaints received more than 48 hours after service completion

6.4 Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the ACL, including consumer guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with our services or these Terms is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7.2 We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of opportunity, whether arising in contract, tort including negligence, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

7.3 We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to your property or belongings

  • Damage caused by items that were not disclosed to us prior to the service including fragile, antique, or high-value items

  • Loss or damage resulting from your failure to follow our reasonable instructions or recommendations

  • Any loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control

7.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the ACL that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where the ACL applies and permits us to limit our liability, our liability is limited to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having the services resupplied.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All content on this Website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, photographs, and the overall design and layout ("Content"), is owned by or licensed to Spruced Society Cleanz and is protected by Australian copyright and intellectual property laws.

8.2 You may view and print Content from this Website for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, transmit, or otherwise use any Content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

8.3 Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
